Description

The boundary wall between the north part of Abbey Green and Deanery Field is from the 18th century or earlier and has been altered. It is constructed of sandstone and brick, featuring a blocked doorway on the north side that leads to the City Wall. At the north end and further south, there are old sandstone base courses, and at a higher level next to the City Wall, there is a flight of five stone steps that leads east to Deanery Field.
