Description
The gate piers and gates by the Tenants' Hall at Alderley Park were constructed around 1840 for Sir J T Stanley. They are made of buff sandstone with a weakly rusticated finish. The square piers stand on moulded plinths and feature projecting capstones topped with ball finials. The pair of wrought iron gates includes spear points, speared dogbars, and some curved bracing. These structures are listed for their group value only.
