Description

Terrace of 7 mill workers' cottages, built around 1830 for Samuel Greg. The cottages are constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond, with a Welsh slate roof and six brick chimneys. The building is a rectangular block of two-unit cottages, featuring a two-storey, 14-bay front. The lower windows consist of 4-light wooden mullions set under cambered brick heads, while the upper windows are 3-light casements. The board doors are framed in heavy wood and have later added lean-to tile hoods supported by wooden brackets. The terrace has been converted into four cottages.
