Description
Numbers 16, 18, and 20 are a row of three houses, two of which are now shops, built around 1820 to 1830. They are constructed of brick, painted on number 20, and feature heavy slate roofs. Originally, these were three double-pile single-unit plan dwellings. The buildings are two storeys high and have a three-window range. The entrances are accessed by steps with cast-iron step handrails, with the doors to numbers 16 and 18 being paired. The windows include 15-pane sash windows, and number 16 has a twelve-pane sash window on the first floor. Number 18 has a 20th-century timber window in its original opening, while number 20 features a small bow window, which may be original or an early insertion. There are glazing bar sashes above the windows, and the buildings have end wall stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
