Description

21 and 23 King Street are a pair of houses that are currently used for commercial purposes. They were built in the late 18th century or early 19th century and are constructed from brick with a slate roof. The buildings stand three storeys high and have a two-window range, with shop fronts added to the ground floor. No. 23 still has its original windows above, featuring a segmentally-arched tripartite sash window on the first floor and a 12-pane sash window in the attic. No. 21 has had 3-light casement windows inserted. Both buildings have a moulded eaves cornice and end wall stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
