Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage located on Crewe Road in Haslington. The cottage is constructed of rendered brick with an asbestos cement roof. It is a single-storey building with an attic, originally comprising two bays. Dormer windows with gabled bargeboards have replaced original casements in the attic. A central ridge stack is present. The interior includes an inglenook fireplace with a reeded beam, along with bevelled beams and exposed joists. The cottage is linked to an adjoining property of no architectural interest, forming a single dwelling. It is listed for group value only.
