Description
Lobelia Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It features a rendered brick nogged timber frame and a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays with irregular small framing. The windows are leaded lattice casements with metal opening lights that are gudgeon hung. The upper windows are set in half dormers with gabled roofs and barge boards. There is a ledged and battened door located under a small gabled hood. The main gables have timbers only in the apexes, and there are a few timbers at the rear. A single-storey lean-to is attached to the east gable, while the west gable features barge boards. The cottage has a central stack with four flues. Inside, there are bevelled beams and exposed ceiling joists.
