Description

This is a late 17th-century dwelling, originally two cottages. The building is constructed with a brick-nogged timber frame, with asbestos cement sheeting covering the remains of a thatched roof. It is a single-storey building with an attic, and has a gabled shape with three bays. The timber framing features small framing with irregularly placed rails on all sides. There are two boarded doors, each with a lattice-work hood above. The windows have been altered, although one is an original bow window. A further window is located in a gabled dormer. A board bearing the date 1510 is positioned above the door. The gables have barge boards. A later wing has been added to the rear of the property. Inside, there are bevelled beams and exposed joists.
