Description
Green Butts is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, topped with a tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring a "T" shaped plan with four bays. It stands on a sandstone plinth and has a doorcase that includes external architraves and plinth blocks, along with a rectangular transom light that has glazing bars, leading to a four-panel bolection moulded door. A gabled porch with side trellis and a barge board adorned with finials enhances the entrance. The windows are three-light flush casements set beneath segmental arches, while the upper windows, which also have glazing bars, are located in gabled dormers with barge boards. A three-course-deep brick band runs along the first floor level. Inside, the farmhouse features chamfered beams, exposed joists, and four-panel doors.
