Barn 50 Metres East Of Bagbrook Farmhouse

The building is a barn located 50 meters east of Bagbrook Farmhouse, originally part of Fallows Hall. It dates from the early 17th century, with a late 18th-century addition on the right and some 20th-century alterations. The barn features a combination of timber framing with brick nogging and sections built from English garden wall bond red brick. The front has a Welsh slate roof, while the rear is covered with Kerridge stone-slate. On the left side of the front, there are 11 by 3 regular timber small frames, with some later windows added. The left end gable includes a cambered tiebeam and collar truss. There is a now-blocked cart entrance in the larger brick section, which also has 20th-century inserted openings. At the rear, there is a continuous brick outshut that serves as a shippon.
