Farmhouse, late C17, brown brick and whitened old brick with stone slate roof laid with diminishing courses. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. A two span wing, at the rear (east) of the property completes an "L" shaped plan. A 6-panel door, with the upper three panels raised, fielded and bolection moulded and the lower panels bead and flush is hung in a chamfered frame with central mullion overlight. Two-light flush casements with glazing bars. Projecting first floor brick band. The rear door is cross boarded and hung to a heavy dowelled frame on strap hinges. Gable end and mid-ridge stacks. Interior: Two-panel Jacobean style and wide boarded doors on strap hinges. Inglenook. Chamfered beams including a cross beam arrangement in the Parlour. Jacobean style staircase with spiral turned balusters, double width newel posts and heavy moulded handrail. At first floor level these are single and two-panel doors on strap hinges and chamfered beams. In the attic there are collar trusses, oak chamfered purlins, ridge tree and original rafters.
