Description

This barn, located south-west of Manor Farmhouse, is a late 17th-century farm building. It is constructed of red brick and features a stone slate roof. The barn is single storey and consists of five truss bays and five windows. It has 20th-century boarded doors that are fitted with strap hinges or sliding gear. The windows are metal hopper lights with stone heads and sills, and there is a three-brick deep projecting band above the windows. Inside, the barn has old Queen post trusses and purlins with wind braces. The building is listed for its group value.
