WITHINGTON CP CINDER LANE Bate Mill Cottage

(Formerly listed under CINDER LANE, previously listed as Bom Mill Cottage)

II House. Late C17 with C19 additions and alterations. Timber frame with brick infill and corrugated asbestos roof. Three cells one storey raised to two storeys in C19.

Entrance front: rendered plinth. 12 x 3 cells of small framing with angle struts to corners and sixth and tenth posts. Two-light casement to left. C20 oriel bow to centre and two-light casement to right. Red stretcher bond brick to first floor with three three-light casement windows.

Left hand gable end: 2 x 3 cells of small framing with arched braces to corners and imposed C20 doorway. Brick walling to left on first floor. Three light casement window to first floor.
