Description
The stables at The Cheshire Hunt were built around 1760 for the Master of the Cheshire Hunt. They are constructed from red English garden wall bond brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. The front of the building has a door located to the left of center at ground floor level, and a circular pitch hole with a stone sill on the first floor. There are diamond and X-shaped breathers on both floors. To the left, there is a 19th-century gabled addition and a lean-to. The right gable end includes a square pitch hole. At the rear, there is a cambered headed door at ground floor level, with patterned breathers on the first floor similar to those at the front. This building is included for its group value only.
