SJ 97 NW BOLLINGTON

2/55 Estate boundary stone at SJ 9401 7684.

Estate boundary stone: dated 1830. Ashlar sandstone block in the base of a dry stone wall. West face reads G/T 1830 in deeply cut seriffed letters, the G for the Gatley or Green family. East face has a cruder cutting of T/G.

The stone divides two quarries on Kerridge Hill.
