Description
The former Methodist chapel, now a Methodist Sunday School, was built in 1828 and has been altered for its current use. It is constructed of coursed sandstone and features a slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan measuring three by four bays, with a later addition on the left side. It is two storeys high with a gable facing the road. The symmetrical front wall includes bands at two levels, a Doric doorway with a cornice, and two round-headed windows at the ground floor, along with three round-headed windows above. All windows have imposts and keystones, and there is later glazing. A plaque in the gable is dated 1828. The side walls contain rectangular windows, and there is a later two-storey wing attached to the rear half of the left side.
