Description
The former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, built in 1836, is located on the north side of Front Street in Wolsingham. The front is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings, while the other elevations are made of mixed stone rubble also featuring ashlar dressings and quoins. The chapel has a Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings and is a single storey with four windows and a low front porch, although the porch is obscured by later walls. The side elevations include a round sundial above, inscribed with "TEMPIS FUGIT," set in a raised keyed surround. The side elevations have four windows, with the central pair being higher, topped with 2-centred stone heads and projecting stone sills. The roof is low-pitched.
