Description
Cleadon House is a house dating from the third quarter of the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with a painted plinth and quoins, featuring tooled ashlar dressings. The roof is made of Welsh slate, with stone gable copings and yellow brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and four windows, with a four-panel door that has glazed upper panels and a round head, set in a panelled reveal beneath an entablature with a pulvinated frieze. The windows are late 19th-century sashes, with the left ground floor window being tripartite, all set in raised stone surrounds. The roof has slightly swept eaves, with copings resting on curved kneelers, and there are three ridge chimneys located at the ends and between the second and third bays.
