Description
This barn, located approximately 15 meters west of Higher Red Lee Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century and includes a stable at the right end. It is constructed from sandstone blocks and rubble, featuring quoins and a stone slate roof. The barn consists of three bays and has a central wagon entrance equipped with a sliding door that moves into an old recess in the first bay. There are three breathers located in the third bay. The stable, which is set back at the right end, has a chamfered doorway at the inner angle, a window to its right, and is lofted. Additionally, there is a continuous lean-to cowshed at a lower level at the rear.
