Description
The war memorial is located approximately 40 meters to the west of the Church of Our Blessed Lady Immaculate, facing east. It is designed as a tall crucifix, with the cross and hood made of oak, while the figure of Christ crucified is painted white. The cross is set upon a coursed stone plinth that is square in shape and features a low pyramidal top. On the front face of the plinth, there is a small black plaque that displays a dedication prayer from the Mass for the dead, written in Latin followed by English. The inscription reads: "PIE JESU DOMINE/ DONA EIS/ REQUIEM SEMPITERNAM/ MERCIFUL LORD JESUS/ GRANT THEM/ ETERNAL REST."
