Description

Silksworth Cottage is likely from the late 18th century. It is built of rubble stone with large quoins and ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof. The two-storey house has five windows. A half-glazed door is located in the fourth bay, sheltered by a small stone pedimented hood supported by brackets. The ground floor windows have plain stone surrounds, while the first floor has sash windows. The roof features corniced brick chimneys at each end.
