Description
This is a late 18th-century house located on the south side of Front Street, Boldon. The house is rendered with brick dressings and has a roof of Welsh slate. It is two storeys high with four windows. An elliptical brick arch provides access to a carriage entrance on the left side of the building, with a window above it. The central door is set within a stone surround of simplified classical design, featuring a pediment and an overlight with glazing bars. The remaining windows are casements. The low-pitched roof has wooden eaves brackets and brick chimneys positioned between the first and second bays, and at the west end.
