Description

This is a high wall dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, located to the west of No 48, known as Whitehouse Farm. The wall forms the west side of the entrance to the farmyard and extends 23 metres along Front Street. It is constructed of limestone rubble, featuring sandstone piers and an elliptical brick arch at the eastern end that serves as the carriage entrance.
