Description

This is a house dating to circa 1780, with a later porch addition. It is constructed of English bond brick with ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with stone gable coping. The house is three storeys high, with a three-window facade, and a two-storey, set-back entrance extension to the right. The main entrance features a six-panelled door with an overlight, set within alternate-block brick jambs, beneath a carved lintel. Above this are two tall sash windows with matching lintels and sloping sills. The extension has an entablature and blocking course, and a first-floor string. The main house has sash windows with projecting stone sills and flat stone lintels with false keystones. Two banded brick chimneys are visible. The building is listed partly for its group value.
