Description
Cross House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick in English Garden Wall Bond and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays. There are five moulded steps leading up to a central flush-panelled door, which is topped by a patterned fanlight and surrounded by a pedimented stone entablature with a fluted frieze. On either side of the entrance are single-storey bow windows with ashlar aprons; each window has three 12-pane sashes and an ogee lead roof. Above these, there are 12-pane sashes with projecting stone sills. The second floor is an addition from a slightly later date. The roof is gabled and has large end stacks. The interior has not been seen.
