Description

This is a house, dating to circa 1770, situated on the south side of Front Street in Tynemouth. The building is constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof, and features ashlar-corniced end brick chimneys. It is three storeys high and has two windows. A beaded six-panelled door, with a three-paned overlight, is set under a deep canopy in the second bay. The windows are sash windows, paired in the first bay, with cambered brick arches above the ground and first floor openings, and a continuous eaves gutter board. The steeply-pitched roof is covered in thin slates, with tumbled-in brickwork to the gable end.
