Description
The building is a shelter shed and barn located to the west of North East Mason Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with brick dressings. The loft features a Welsh slate roof, while the barn has dark asbestos tiles. The shelter shed and loft are two storeys high and consist of three bays, with three segmental brick arches supported by square piers and three pitching holes above. Wooden brackets support the eaves gutter. The barn is a single storey with two bays, featuring a boarded door beneath a wooden lintel on the left side and ventilation slits. This structure is included for its group value as it serves as a link between the shelter shed and the farmhouse.
