Description
Gingang on the west side of the farm buildings at Seven Mile Farm is an early 19th-century structure. It is built from tooled squared stone and features a Scottish slate roof. The building has eight piers with later boarded infill between them, and larger stepped piers at both the north and south ends. The roof is conical in shape. Inside, the roof structure is suspended, with a central pendant post connected to the principal rafters by radial collars and raking struts, along with two levels of curving purlins. There is a blocked Gothic-arched opening for a drive shaft in the adjacent barn wall. The attached barn and farm buildings have been altered and are not considered of special interest.
