Description

The Metcalfe family tomb, located 50 yards south of the church in Stockton on Tees, dates from the late 18th century. It is a rectangular table tomb with a rounded top, featuring fluted and reeded corner piers and a moulded base. The tomb has panels at each end and two on each side, all with voided and fluted corners.
