Description

Nos 140 and 141 High Street are mid-18th century buildings that originally formed a pair, each with three windows. They are three storeys tall and constructed of brick, featuring stone bands above the first and second floors. No 141 has stone lintels and cills, as well as a stone moulded coping on the parapet. The buildings have a slate roof with a single brick chimney located on the left side. No 140 has modern casement windows, while No 141 retains late glazed sash windows with new flush frames. Both buildings have modern shop fronts.
