Description
Freeman, Hardy and Willis is a building dating from around 1870, located on High Street in Stockton on Tees. It stands three storeys tall and features two windows. The exterior is made of painted brick, which likely hides original polychromy, and is designed in an early Renaissance style. An arcaded corbel table supports a brick modillion cornice, along with roll moulding, a blocking course, and stone coping. The first floor has cambered arches, while the second floor has round window arches, some of which include carved heads in the tympana. The building also has moulded reveals and drip moulds. A modern shop front has been added.
