Description

This is an 18th-century row of four red-brick cottages located in Hauxwell's Yard, off High Street in Yarm. The cottages have steeply pitched, swept pantiled roofs with ridge stacks, some of which have been rebuilt. Each cottage is two storeys high with one window. They feature later 19th-century sash windows with vertical bars in exposed frames, and boarded or four-panel doors. Number 1 has been rendered.
