Description

This is a long 18th-century warehouse located at the rear of Number 19 on Yarm High Street. It is constructed from mixed local brick and features a stepped and dentilled eaves cornice, along with stone kneelers at the gables of its pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high and has four irregularly placed windows. The openings are barred and have segmental relieving arches, with shutters on the ground floor. The positioning of this warehouse, along with its close similarity to Nos 17 and 19, suggests that two members of a family firm may have lived in the adjacent houses and jointly used the warehouse.
