Description
Nos 31 and 33 on High Street in Yarm are an irregular pair of 18th-century buildings that have undergone some alterations. They are constructed of painted brick, and the roof has been renewed with concrete ridged tiles, featuring a rebuilt off-centre stack. The buildings rise three storeys and have a total of three windows. The second floor has Yorkshire lights, while the first floor features late 19th-century sash windows, all of which are adorned with stucco lintels and stone cills. On the ground floor, there is a canted bay that shares an entablature with two doors: one is a four-panel door and the other is glazed, both accompanied by oblong fanlights set in panelled reveals. The entrance to the yard on the left is framed in pilasters as well.
