Description
The byre range and foldyard, located approximately 15 meters west of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid-19th century, with the northern byre partly rebuilt in the mid to late 20th century. The foldyard has been roofed over, and the byres were re-roofed in the mid to late 19th century. The structure is made of brick and features clay pantile roofs with stone ridge copings, while the north byre has mid to late 20th-century concrete tiles. The byres surround a covered foldyard on four sides, and the hipped roofs are supported by timber posts, leaving the sides open at the eaves for ventilation. This building is included for its group value.
