Description

The piers and quadrant walls at the entrance to Humshaugh House are likely from the 18th century, while the wall and outer pilasters date to the 19th century. They are constructed from squared stone and ashlar. The main piers are square and rusticated, featuring moulded pyramidal caps. The quadrant walls have gabled coping and extend to plain ashlar pilasters that have moulded caps, which rise from shaped bases located part-way up the wall.
