Description
Old Farmhouse at Hemelspeth, now used as an agricultural store, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with tooled dressings and has a slate roof. The south elevation features one storey with two bays, a chamfered plinth, and two-light mullioned windows in chamfered surrounds that hold three-pane casements. The gables are coped, with stone ridge coping and corniced ashlar stacks. The rear elevation displays two boarded doors with an old 12-pane fixed window between them, and a 12-pane sash window to the left, all in chamfered surrounds. The wall on the west side of the rear yard has gabled coping that connects to a pair of outhouses. The eastern outhouse is a privy with a doorway and a small adjacent window, both in chamfered surrounds.
