Description
The Belvedere retaining wall, located approximately 30 yards south and east of Carrycoats Hall, is an early 19th-century structure. It is built of dressed stone and features steeply-chamfered coping. The wall is interrupted on the east side by steps that are flanked by square piers topped with ball finials. This wall serves as a ha-ha wall on the south side and is included in the listing for its group value with Carrycoats Hall.
