Description

The Belvedere Wall, located to the south and east of Lilburn Tower, is an early 19th-century retaining wall constructed of ashlar stone. It features a low profile with a ridged coping that is topped by roll-moulding. The wall is interrupted twice on the east side by steps, which have handrails that match the wall's design. At various points along the structure, there are slight buttress projections and angle piers, all capped with similar decorative tops.
