Description

Lilburn West Bridge is a bridge built in 1906. It features pre-cast ferro-concrete arches supported by stone abutments and has a cast iron parapet. The bridge consists of a single span supported on five ferro-concrete segmental arches, with open spandrels that include two struts each. The parapet is designed as a trellis, with small circles at the intersections and divided into panels by uprights topped with small knob finials. Each panel has a band of circles at both the top and bottom. The approach walls are short and plain, made of stone.
