Farmhouse. c1800. Coursed dressed stone, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 x 2 bays with outshut on right rear and lower, one-bay addition to left with additional services behind. Central staircase plan. Central doorway shows voussoirs of former door above later porch. All windows have sills and 12-pane sashes. Similar windows on right return plus two 9-pane attic windows. Gabled dormers breaking eaves on left addition. C20 greenhouse in front. Quoins and window surrounds have horizontal striated tooling (c.f. Old Bewick Farmhouse). Gabled roof with flat coping stones and gable-end stacks with plain square cornices.
