Description
This is a village shop and post office, likely designed by Edward Blore for the Earl of Tankerville. It dates to probably the early 19th century. The building is constructed of roughly dressed stone with ashlar surrounds to the door and windows. It is a single-story building, with slightly recessed and chamfered window surrounds on the right side. A shop bay window has been renewed on the left side. A square chimney stack with cornices is located at the rear. The building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
