Description

Little Swinburne Tower is a ruined tower house dating from the 15th century. It is constructed of random rubble, with significant portions of the south and west walls still standing to about 30 feet. The east and north walls are more fragmented and have mostly lost their facing stone. The south and west walls feature a chamfered offset at the first floor level. On the west side, there are remnants indicating the roof of a building that has since been demolished. Inside, there are remains of a basement vault and traces of a fireplace from the first floor.
