Circa 1826. 2 storeys, attic and basement. 3 windows. Ashlar with raised quoins, cill strings and central door surround. Moulded eaves cornice. Sash windows with late glazing. 2 segmental headed dormers. 6 panel door with rectangular light above, with lozenge glazing. Basement door to right, half glazed (Colfield Mews). 2 storey and basement annexe set back to right, single window. Round headed stair window to rear. Front garden raised over cellar.

Nos 1 to 43 (odd) Hencotes, together with Temperley Place (Nos 1 to 5) and walls form a group, of which Nos 7 to 13, 13A and 13B, 19, 21, 31, 33 and 41 Hencotes are of local interest.
