Description
Cotfield House, located at No 3 Temperley Place, dates from around 1826. This building has two storeys, an attic, and a basement, featuring three windows. It is constructed of ashlar stone with raised quoins, cill strings, and a central door surround. The eaves cornice is moulded, and the windows are sash style with late glazing. There are two segmental-headed dormers, and the entrance has a six-panel door with a rectangular light above that includes lozenge glazing. To the right is a half-glazed basement door leading to Colfield Mews. There is also a two-storey and basement annexe set back to the right with a single window, and a round-headed stair window at the rear. The front garden is raised above the cellar.
