Description

The courtyard walls in front of Temperley Place (Number 5) date from around 1826 and are constructed of rubble. They stand approximately 7 feet high and include entrance gates leading to the street. These walls, along with Nos 1 to 45 (odd) Hencotes and Temperley Place (Nos 1 to 5), form a group of buildings, which also includes Nos 7 to 13, 13A and 13B, 19, 21, 31, 33, and 41 Hencotes, all of which are of local interest.
