Description

The bridge over Cockshaw Burn, built in the mid-19th century, features coursed rubble construction. It has a tall arch with rustication, which is flanked by retaining walls that support a high parapet. The arch is also flanked by pyramid-capped piers, while the retaining walls are curved and terminate in additional pyramid-capped piers.
