Description
Temperley Place, located at No. 5 Hencotes, dates from around 1826 and is a two-storey building that was originally a coach house and stables. The ground floor features three segmental arched openings with double doors. On the first floor, there are three windows, including two glazing bar sashes and a smaller casement window in the center. The building is constructed of rubble with quoins and is accessed from the west via a passage leading to Seal Terrace. Temperley Place, along with Nos 1 to 43 (odd) Hencotes and surrounding walls, forms a group of buildings, with several nearby properties noted for their local interest.
