Description

The garden wall between Temperley Place (Nos 2 and 3) is an early to mid-19th century structure. It is built of rubble and features an ashlar doorway on the left leading to the garden of Colfield House. The wall stands approximately 7 feet high. This wall, along with Nos 1 to 43 (odd) Hencotes and Temperley Place (Nos 1 to 5), forms a group of buildings, with Nos 7 to 13, 13A and 13B, 19, 21, 31, 33, and 41 Hencotes being of local interest.
