Description

35 Hencotes is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high and features three windows. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a cill band at the first floor, along with a moulded eaves cornice. The sides of the building have slight set backs. The ashlar chimneys are capped with a coved design. The windows are glazing bar sash types, and there is a raised doorcase with a hood above. The door itself has six raised and fielded panels, with a rectangular light positioned above it. At the rear, there is a stone gabled extension. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 43 (odd) Hencotes, Temperley Place (Nos 1 to 5), and surrounding walls, with several other nearby properties of local interest.
