Description

15 Hencotes is a late 18th century to early 19th century building that stands two storeys high and features one window. It is constructed of painted brick, with stone side piers and headstones on the first floor, and includes a projecting bay. The ground floor has a continuous late 19th century to early 20th century shop front, which is characterized by twin fascia brackets and plate glass shop windows on either side of a central entrance. At the rear, there is a catslide roof. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 43 (odd) Hencotes, along with Temperley Place (Nos 1 to 5) and surrounding walls, with several nearby properties of local interest.
